Firstly I’d like to say WOW! What a venue, the castle, the rooms and grounds and gardens were absolutely stunning and I was overcome with possibilities for pictures.
Congratulations to Dave and Allison on tying the knot, at such a beautiful venue with such lovely family and guests surrounding them.
We started the day getting ready with the girls at ‘Wright Hair Salon’, where the bride, bridesmaids and other family members were transformed.
I later met, Dave and his groomsmen at the local Shepard Neame pub, Henry Viii. Where I discovered pink socks, a relaxed atmosphere and beers at the ready.
As the ceremony began, we were accompanied by the romantic sound of a harpist. After the beautiful and very personal ceremony, we made our way out onto the private lawn. Where we were greeted with croquet and giant jenga! Most importantly the sun had come out, just in time to see the scale and beauty of Alison’s wedding dress!
As the day continued, the high tea, and hog roast arrived, feeding the bellies of the hungry guests until the evening – when the party got turned up a notch with the arrival of ‘The Indie Killers’ – Who have to be one of THE best bands I have come across doing wedding photography. I couldn’t help myself dancing away, whilst taking pictures well into the evening.
I’d like to congratulate Dave and Allison again on their wonderful wedding day and evening at the stunning Hever Castle. I wish you all the happiness, with your marriage.
William
