Matt and Vicky’s wedding at Groombridge Place

Matt and Vicky’s wedding at Groombridge Place

Finally, I am proud to present Matt and Vicky’s stunning wedding at Groombridge Place.

This was not only a wedding, but a reunion of so many old school friends whom I hadn’t seen for over 10 years, therefore the anticipation of this big day had been building for many weeks.

I arrived at Nevill Park, Tunbridge Wells where I was greeted Vicky, the bridesmaids, and lovely flower girls all getting ready. Not to forget Alfie the spaniel, getting his hair styled too!

This was also where I met Olly the fantastic videographer from ‘Ledgend Wedding Films’

After catching up with Vicky, it was quickly time to move onto Hungershall Park to find the groom and groomsmen getting ready with gin and tonics in hand.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Paul’s Church in Rusthall, where Reverend Ronnie Williams made for an exceptionally humorous service, which will be remembered by all who attended.

Then it was time to go to Groombridge Place. However, the vintage wedding car had other ideas. It was time for Matt’s pride and joy and Vicky’s worst nightmare to take center stage…..The ‘Only Fools and Horses’ 3 Wheeler which Matt had booked for himself and the groomsmen. With smiles on their faces, later than planned, and slightly wetter than anticipated from the excessive weather conditions they had finally arrived!!

Battling the weather conditions, Matt and Vicky braved it outside, long enough to get some pictures with the trusty Del Boy car.

Many thanks to ‘Del Boy Trotter Van Hire’ for coming to the rescue.

I would like to congratulate Mr and Mrs Harmer on their marriage. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day. It was lovely to catch up with so many old school friends on such a happy occasion. Wishing you the best happiness for the future.
